The elderly enjoy carnival
That the carnival party on Curaçao is celebrated by young and old became clear once again this week.
On Monday, Coridja Stars Production, with the help of the Representation of the Netherlands in Willemstad, organized a carnival party in Sambil especially for the elderly. Before the covid period the traditional carnival party for the elderly had not been celebrated for years. The organization thought it was important to change this and invited hundreds of elderly people to enjoy tumba, other carnival music and a snack and drink.
