Van Huffelen gifts footballs to migrants detention center
Last week, two colleagues from the Representation of the Netherlands in Willemstad visited the Migrants Detention Center at Sentro di Detenshon i Korekshon Kòrsou (SDKK) to hand over footballs to the undocumented migrants staying there.
During a visit to the Migrants Reception and Detention Center (VODC) in December 2022, State Secretary Alexandra van Huffelen of Kingdom Relations had promised to donate footballs to the center to be used there as a recreational tool. The Representation of the Netherlands in Willemstad was warmly received at the Migrants Detention Center in Koraal Specht and the migrants were very happy with the balls.
