Representative

Saskia de Reuver is currently Acting Representative of the Netherlands. Since 2020, she has also been Director of Kingdom Relations at the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations. She studied Japanese Language and Culture and Dutch Law at the University of Leiden. Saskia previously worked in various positions at Immigration and Naturalization Services at the Custodial Institutions Agency. At DJI she was, among other things, Head of the International Affairs Bureau and member of the Board of Directors of the Prison Service and Immigration Detention Division. In these positions she has worked extensively with the Caribbean parts of the Kingdom.

Head of the Oranjestad office and deputy representative

Vincent Storimans has been head of the Representation of the Netherlands in Oranjestad since July 3, 2023. He studied European private law at the University of Amsterdam and worked as a diplomat at the Dutch embassies in Moscow, Beijing, and Washington D.C., with his last position being that of Deputy Consul General in San Francisco. Head of the Philipsburg office and deputy representative

Eelco Boomsma has been Head of Office of the Representation of the Netherlands in Philipsburg, since January 6th, 2025. He studied Archaeology and Cultural History of Central and South America at Leiden University. Eelco also holds a Masters in History of International Relations from the London School of Economics. From 2020 to 2024 he worked as Embassy Counsellor Strategy and Regional Affairs at the Dutch Embassy in Singapore. He also held various positions in the Netherlands at the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations in the field of politics, administration and international cooperation.
